Honda Fit EV Now Available |
East Coasters are interested in Honda's subcompact HOME rejoice, yes, all five of you: the new all-electric 2013 will be presented to the Appropriate HOME for the first time at select Honda dealers, Massachusetts, Connecticut, Maryland, New York and New Jersey before the end of the month. The move follows the launch of the Fit HOME in California and Oregon in July 2012.

The Fit of the HOME features a 20kWh Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery and a 92kW (equal to 123 horsepower) AC synchronous electric motor produces 189 ft-lb of torque. It offers the estimated driving range rating of 82 kilometer (132 miles), and the combined set as the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) miles-per-gallon-of equivalence rating 118 MPGe.
